Guest Experience Captain: As a Guest Experience Captain your main focus is to create an authentic and unique experience for each Guest that will build loyalty and help continue to deliver the ultimate social experience for sports fans. You will do this by enhancing the game day experience through; supporting sports fans, providing Guest with the latest technology, showcasing food and beverages, and creating connections both inside the restaurant and in the community.

JOB PURPOSE: Facilitates and guides the Guest through their unique experience at Buffalo Wild Wings. Creates a personal connection with Guests and servers as a brand ambassador for the brand. GEC introduces and communicates the Food, Beverage, and Game On elements to create a customized and Ultimate Social Experience for Sports Fans; sole focus is on the Guest Experience and Every Day is Game Day atmosphere.
JOB FUNCTIONS / REPONSIBILITIES

  • The GEC position is a part-time position, averaging 29 hours or less a week. If after a 12 month look back period you average 30 or more hours per week you will be eligible to participate in company medical benefits. Company expectations of hours for a full-time position is a 36 to 40 hour work week.
  • Engages with Guest throughout their BWW experience. Determines the Guest’s needs, interest, and why they chose BWW, then interacts appropriately to deliver customized Guest experience.
  • Showcase technology, food and beverage menu (including mass sampling and sauce/seasonings sampling), events, programs/promotions, and determine Guest interest in sports.
  • Captain engages and makes a personal connection/interaction between Guests and BWW team including transitioning the Guest to or from the Server or Bartender. Captain constantly communicates with the FOH Team Members to ensure a seamless experience for the Guest.
  • Follows-up with Guests throughout their experience to ensure experience expectations are met
  • Facilitates and communicates sports for the day and upcoming events
  • Manages audio visual equipment experience and atmosphere
  • Evaluates opportunities to introduce Guests to current programs such as BWWs loyalty program, EWRF, Blazin’ Challenge, and other available programs
  • Showcases and executes the three Guest Engagement Plays to the Guests: the Food and Beverage Experience, the AV and Technology Experience and Community Connectedness
  • Facilitates Eat Wings Raise Funds, Home Team Advantage, business to business, community events, and other community relationship building activities as assigned by Restaurant Leadership
  • Completes assigned Guest Experience strategies/programs and plans as set forth by Franchised Restaurant Leadership
  • Executes Captain Engagement Zone expectations
  • Communicate local Guest Experience activities to Franchised Restaurant Leadership
  • Submits weekly marketing objectives (Local Restaurant Marketing)and recap results to Franchised Restaurant Leadership
  • Current and future event planning and management as assigned by Franchised Restaurant Leadership
  • Communicate and coordinate goals and activities with other FOH positions, to ensure awareness of position goals
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Team Members in an effort to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum Team Member morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness
