Job description

The Groundsman plays a vital role in maintaining the appearance and safety of outdoor spaces through consistent, year-round upkeep. This position focuses on the daily trimming and removal of trees and shrubs, operating equipment such as chainsaws and trimmers, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Working within a small team, the Groundsman contributes to the upkeep and beautification of various grounds with moderate physical labor involved.

Responsibilities

  • Trim and remove large and small trees and shrubs
  • Operate chainsaws, trimmers, and other groundskeeping equipment safely
  • Perform daily site maintenance tasks to ensure clean and safe grounds
  • Comply with all safety procedures and regulations during operations
  • Conduct site cleanup after maintenance activities
  • Work collaboratively within a small team environment
