Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Working Grounds Foreman to lead a crew of 6 in maintaining the cleanliness of a high-traffic industrial site. The ideal candidate will lead by example, work alongside the crew, and ensure daily tasks are completed to a high standard. Light paperwork and DOT truck inspections are part of the daily responsibilities. This position also includes winter work including snow removal.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and work alongside a team of 6 grounds maintenance crew members.
  • Ensure daily litter and debris pickup across the industrial site.
  • Conduct and oversee daily DOT truck checks for equipment and vehicles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds, walkways, common areas and equipment.
  • Complete and submit light daily paperwork and crew checklists.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety, productivity, and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead by example and manage a team effectively.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
  • Comfortable with outdoor physical labor in various weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of DOT vehicle checks (training can be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
