Horseshoe Bay Resort – Horseshoe Bay, TX
Pay: $17.50/hour | Full-Time

The Opportunity

The lake life is calling. At Horseshoe Bay Resort, genuine Texas hospitality meets luxury on the shores of Lake LBJ. Set across 17,000 acres in the Texas Hill Country, our property features beautifully maintained grounds, landscapes, and outdoor spaces.

We are seeking a Grounds Foreperson to lead daily landscape maintenance operations and help maintain the overall appearance and quality of the resort.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and support grounds team members (Gardeners, Equipment Operators, Greenskeepers)
  • Lead daily landscaping operations, including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and debris removal
  • Operate and monitor irrigation systems; identify and report issues
  • Train team members on safe equipment operation (mowers, trimmers, edgers, chainsaws, etc.)
  • Perform equipment inspections, fueling, cleaning, and report maintenance needs
  • Assist with landscape projects such as mulching, sod installation, and seasonal work
  • Support scheduling, inventory, and general operational tasks as needed
  • Ensure work meets quality standards across assigned areas of the property

  • Age 18+ (21+ if operating company vehicles)
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable record
  • Experience in landscape or grounds maintenance preferred
  • Knowledge of landscaping equipment and irrigation systems
  • Basic mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
