Title: Head Groundsman
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, machinery, and safety practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions especially during snow events
  • Familiar with snow equipment (i.e. plows, bobcats, snow blowers, salters, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with sports field maintenance

Reports To: Buildings and Grounds Manager/Assistant Business Administrator for Facilities
Job Goal: Assist B&G Manager to set schedule and maintain daily, weekly and seasonal schedules.
Performance Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the maintenance of lawns, sports fields, gardens, walkways, and other outdoor areas.
  2. Ensure fields and grounds are properly prepared for events or games. Maintain equipment and coordinate necessary repairs.
  3. Ensure all groundskeeping is performed in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.
  4. Monitor and maintain irrigation systems.

Rate: $5,000 annual
