Job description

Casey Peterson, Ltd. is pleased to provide students with the hands-on experience of working for a public accounting firm through an accounting internship program.

Interested accounting internship applicants must be full-time students with a 3.0 GPA who have completed their Junior year and intermediate accounting classes. Audit coursework is not necessary, but recommended. Applicants pursuing a degree in Accountancy or related equivalent and have a desire to work in public accounting upon graduation will be given preference.

CP Ltd. prefers to provide accounting internship opportunities during the second semester (January - April), but will also consider summer and fall accounting internships on request. Accounting internships will provide students with experience in the tax, accounting, or audit field. All internships are paid a competitive wage and are eligible for course credit, depending on the applicant's school requirements. The firm will strive to achieve whatever standards the requirements dictate.

The success and growth of the firm is highly dependent on the quality of the CP team. Therefore, the firm is committed to place a minimum of one intern per year. All accounting internships will be reviewed and definitely considered for full-time employment after graduation.

Students interested in the internship program should submit a resume to Human Resources prior to October 31st of each year. Interns will typically be offered positions by approximately November 15st of each year for our upcoming spring, summer, and fall internship programs. Resumes submitted after October 31st of each year will be considered, but we encourage applicants to submit resumes prior to October 31st of each year.
