Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Construction Supervisory Experience

DESCRIPTION:
Gaines and Company, founded in 1954, is a well-established residential and commercial site developer seeking a Foreman with emphasis on earthwork, underground utilities, heavy equipment and supervisory experience to join our team. The Foreman is expected to have good people skills, excellent organizational experience, ability to manage subcontractors and have problem solving abilities.
Our Foremen oversee the crews for our projects from job from start to finish. Gaines and Company services includes grading, erosion control, underground utilities, and some storm water management work. We will often subcontract the clearing, curb, stone and paving work.
The Foreman will report to a superintendent, our teams include two superintendents, one over grading and one over the utilities. The Foremen coordinate operations and oversee the crews.
A construction Foreman is the key person for the completion of a project, leadership and experience is key to direct the work of others and favor safety above everything else.
