Job description

We are seeking an experienced Grading Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage earthwork and site development projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing grading operations while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of grading and sitework projects including clearing, excavation, cut/fill, and fine grading
  • Review and interpret civil drawings, grading plans, and project specifications
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans for earthwork operations
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure efficient production
  • Monitor daily operations, production rates, and project progress
  • Track costs and manage budgets, including labor, equipment, and materials
  • Prepare and manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in grading, earthwork, or site development project management
  • Strong knowledge of grading operations, soil conditions, and heavy equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret civil/site plans and specifications
