Job description

We are an established commercial concrete and excavation contractor looking for an experienced General Superintendent / Senior Concrete Foreman who can take ownership of approximately $2 million or more in annual concrete and excavation work.
This is not a position for someone who only wants to run one crew. We need a leader who can manage multiple projects, organize manpower and equipment, drive production, and make sure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and profitably.
Responsibilities
    ●    Manage multiple commercial concrete and excavation projects simultaneously
    ●    Direct foremen, operators, laborers, finishers, carpenters, and field crews
    ●    Schedule manpower, equipment, trucking, materials, and concrete pours
    ●    Coordinate excavation, grading, foundations, walls, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and site concrete
    ●    Read and understand plans, specifications, elevations, and project schedules
    ●    Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, suppliers, and subcontractors
    ●    Track labor hours and field production against project budgets
    ●    Identify problems early and keep projects moving
    ●    Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, and jobsite organization
    ●    Hold crews accountable for production and quality
    ●    Help develop foremen and strengthen field operations
Qualifications
    ●    10+ years of commercial concrete and/or excavation experience preferred
    ●    Proven experience managing multiple crews and projects
    ●    Experience responsible for approximately $2M+ of annual construction work
    ●    Strong knowledge of commercial concrete construction
    ●    Strong understanding of excavation, grading, and site work
    ●    Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
    ●    Strong leadership and communication skills
    ●    Understands labor productivity, job costs, scheduling, and profitability
    ●    Valid driver’s license
    ●    Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
