Job description

Bilingual Ironworker/Welder Foreman – Bridgeport, AL

TradesExchange is hiring an experienced Bilingual Ironworker/Welder Foreman for a project in Bridgeport, Alabama. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader who can manage crews, communicate clearly in English and Spanish, and keep production moving safely and efficiently.

This is a Google project, so OSHA 10 is required.

Position Details:
Location: Bridgeport, AL
Position: Bilingual Ironworker/Welder Foreman
Per Diem: $100 per day worked
Schedule: 6-day work week with plenty of overtime
Project Length: 2–3 months
Project Type: Google project
Requirement: OSHA 10 required
Opportunity: Company may take workers project to project

Job Duties Include:
Lead and support ironworker/welder crews in the field
Communicate jobsite instructions in English and Spanish
Assist with moment welds, rigging, bolt-up, connecting, and structural steel work
Read prints, drawings, and field instructions
Help coordinate daily tasks, production goals, and crew assignments
Ensure all work is completed safely and correctly
Monitor PPE, safety practices, and OSHA/site requirements
Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and crew members
Help troubleshoot field issues and keep the job moving

Ideal Candidate:
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Strong ironworker/welding background
Previous foreman, leadman, or crew lead experience preferred
Experience with moment welds, rigging, bolt-up, and connecting
Comfortable working at heights and around cranes/lifts
Reliable, safety-minded, and production-driven
Able to work 6 days per week with overtime
Must have OSHA 10 or be able to obtain it before starting
Willing to travel and move project to project
