Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Occasional travel may be required to project locations and to support Development with local public hearings.

Project Management experience (2+ years)
Solar or renewable energy experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
Preferred
Experience with financial and data analysis experience
Experience with mechanical and/or technical variables
Construction, Energy Industry, and/or Solar experience
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to take ownership of assigned Solar projects while working collaboratively with your Regional Lead to actively manage projects through the Early-Stage process in preparation for turnover to the Construction team.
Daily management of each assigned Solar project is all-encompassing. You are responsible for delivering a technically feasible, schedule appropriate, commercially supported, and financially viable project.
Analyze technical and financial data, extrapolate notable variables, indicators, and trends as related to the assigned Solar projects.
Support in the creation of, take ownership over, and actively manage assigned Solar project capital budget.
Serve as development and permitting support, coordinate with and leverage subject matter experts, facilitate Engineering, actively engage in problem resolution, support capital budget activities thru approvals, work to develop a viable construction plan/schedule, support negotiations and execution of commercial contracts, investigate optimization opportunities.
Engage in a variety of software applications to support your project activities, manage critical data and deliverables.
Communicate and interface with Executive Leadership with the support of your Regional Lead

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the critical coordination of highly matrixed project development teams. You must ensure that resources are focused on the correct activities at the right time to strictly adhere to the project schedule.
Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, and interconnection departments to ensure all variables are incorporated into the project. Additionally, you are tasked with developing the project's technical scope and optimizing variables to improve technical and financial feasibility.
Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement requirements while supporting the E&C engineering team with technical attributes for design development. This includes managing geotechnical, survey, and engineering services to uphold E&C's interests.
Support the cost estimating team in developing the financial model and leverage market data to ensure its health. You are responsible for presenting these models to business units and managing them through executive budget approvals.
Competitively source, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts for critical services, including EPC/PC construction services. You will also support origination and development teams during Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Generator Interconnection Agreement (GIA) negotiations.
Engage with various software applications to manage critical data, deliverables, and key indicators. Furthermore, you are expected to support process improvements and efficiency initiatives to help the organization scale for growth.
Conduct regular presentations and briefings for various levels of management regarding progress, issues, and risk mitigation. Ultimately, you ensure that projects moving to the construction stage are prepared for a seamless turnover.
