Senior Project Manager

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of agency projects from kickoff through completion. This individual manages timelines, organizes deliverables, oversees task management in Basecamp and serves as the operational bridge between clients and our internal creative, strategy, content and production teams.

Working alongside the Director of Client Success, the Senior Project Manager ensures projects stay on schedule, teams remain aligned and clients receive an exceptional experience throughout every engagement.

This role requires someone who can confidently manage multiple high-profile accounts simultaneously while improving internal processes and maintaining the highest standards of organization and communication.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead multiple agency projects from initiation through final delivery.
  • Build, maintain and oversee comprehensive project timelines.
  • Create and manage projects, milestones and deliverables within Basecamp.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure accountability across departments.
  • Identify risks early and proactively resolve scheduling or workflow challenges.
  • Maintain project documentation, approvals and version control.

Team Management

  • Coordinate daily priorities across strategy, creative, content and production teams.
  • Lead internal project status meetings.
  • Ensure every team member understands priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Balance workloads and communicate resource needs.
  • Keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality.

Client Coordination

  • Partner with the Director of Client Success to deliver an outstanding client experience.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and project updates.
  • Translate client feedback into clear internal action plans.
  • Maintain consistent communication regarding project status, timelines and approvals.
  • Anticipate client needs and manage expectations throughout each engagement.

Operations & Process Improvement

  • Maintain agency-wide project visibility and reporting.
  • Continuously improve workflows, templates and project management systems.
  • Assist with scheduling content productions, creative reviews and major project launches.
  • Ensure consistency in project execution across all clients.
  • Help establish best practices that support agency growth.

  • Strong understanding of branding, marketing, content production and creative workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience managing deadlines across creative, production and client service teams.
