Job description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The People Operations Coordinator supports both full-cycle recruiting and core People Operations functions. This role assists with applicant tracking, interview coordination, and candidate experience, while also supporting onboarding, HRIS data integrity, and general employee lifecycle administration. This is a strong entry point for someone who wants to build a generalist People Operations foundation while learning to move fast, take ownership, and bring others along as they grow.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Support recruiting efforts including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate travel, reserving conference rooms, and preparing offer letters
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience
  • Maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking and HR Systems and produce ad hoc reports
  • Post and maintain job postings across the website and job boards
  • Manage and track recruiting campaigns (email, social, etc.)
  • Process background checks
  • Support new hire onboarding, including account setup requests, first-day logistics, and onboarding paperwork
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, including status changes and org chart updates
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee questions, escalating as needed
  • Assist with compliance tasks such as ISO 270001 and SOC-2 processes and audits

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent field-related experience
  • 0-1 year of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or campus involvement in recruiting/HR welcome)
  • Naturally curious about AI tools, always exploring new ones to work faster and more accurately, without be told to.
  • Resourceful: finds a path forward when the obvious one is blocked, rather than waiting for instructions
  • Keen attention to detail, with strong organizational skills across calendars and competing deadlines
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse preferred) is a plus, not required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
  • A track record of going deeper than required in something, driven by your own curiosity rather than a requirement
  • Comfortable naming problems early rather than staying quiet to avoid friction
  • Views knowledge sharing as part of the job, not an afterthought once your part is done

COMPENSATION

This role is based in our Foster City, CA office full-time. The expected hourly rate for this position is $30-$35/hr. Compensation is determined by various factors such as qualifications, experience, relevant education or training.
