Job description

Material Handler

Do you want to work for a family-owned company in which leadership is approachable, has great communication, and is present on the shop floor? Are you looking for a job that offers a variety of work, where every day will be different? This job shop would love for you to join their team - 2nd and 3rd shift available.

Material Handler Responsibilities:

  • Utilize 20 ton overhead crane to load/unload steel plates
  • Load and unload steel plates onto Laser and Kinetic tables
  • Utilize a forklift to move pallets and parts
  • Driving yard truck and trailer to move plates between buildings
  • Complete the required paperwork with our ERP system

Material Handler Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with using tape measure and caliper
  • Good math skills

Material Handler Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly wage: $23.00/hour to $28.00/hour - depending on experience
  • $2 Shift Premium for 2nd and 3rd Shift
  • PTO within in the first 6 months of employment
  • 401K and Profit Sharing
