About the Position 

Goodwin Living (GL) seeks a dynamic leader to serve as the Director of Human Resources for our fastest growing division, Goodwin Living Health (which is inclusive of Home Health, Hospice, Home Care, Goodwin Living at Home, and Rehab Services). This position works closely with the Chief People Officer, as well as each Executive Director and their management teams. This newly created position will help establish The HR Director is responsible for establishing retention initiatives; addressing employee relation matters; ensuring regulatory compliance; promoting employee engagement; establishing methods, programs, and creative benefits to attract and retain team members in a tight labor market; and providing training, when needed.   

The successful candidate will be able to think strategically and act operationally; develop and execute on new ideas and collaborate effectively with leadership. 

Job Requirements 

  • Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, with strong leadership and recruitment experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR and/or other HR certifications preferred
  • Strong background in employee relations, including coaching and counseling and terminations
  • Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication/presentation skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Commitment to learning
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
