Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Brookside Country Club – Macungie, PA

Brookside Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomy team. This position works directly with the Golf Course Superintendent in maintaining high-quality playing conditions for our membership.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading a team, and taking pride in exceptional course conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily golf course maintenance operations

  • Supervise and train grounds staff

  • Apply fertilizers and plant protectants

  • Assist with irrigation system monitoring and repairs

  • Equipment operation and course setup

  • Support tournament preparation and special events

Qualifications
  • Experience in golf course or landscape maintenance preferred

  • Turfgrass Management degree or certificate preferred

  • PA pesticide license or ability to obtain

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed
