Responsibilities:
Operates Folder/Gluer Machine to develop end-result printed packaging material in accordance with customer specifications:
Operate and adjust gluer machine, troubleshoot and monitor operation.
Prepares gluer by performing a variety of tasks to produce a consistent, high quality product
by precise control of feeding, take over and inverting of batches of blanks, setting automatic
loading and constant blank heights maintaining steady and precise feeding at all speedsmaking adjustments as needed to exceed customer expectation.
By performing a variety of make ready tasks utilizing quick and easy settings for high productivity and precision operations, resolves any defects and adjustments to produce high quality product.
Oversee General technicians working on equipment.
Make adjustments, clear jams, while processing product, maintaining speed and quality.
QUALITY:
Ensure quality of jobs completed by reviewing for quality and accuracy. Makes sure jobs are complete and error free.
Ensures finished product exceeds customer expectations. Ensure all checklists are completed.
Support and communicate all ISO standards and quality objectives to the Team.
OHSE AND CLEAN:
Ensures complete adherence and compliance to the OHSE and Clean policies. Assists team members in maintaining clean and safe environment.
Maintains and follows all company policies and procedures for safety, PPE andhazard materials/waste handling according to established guidelines.
Follows all PPE procedures at all times.
Follows established procedures and guidelines for the handling and disposal of all hazardousmaterials/waste.
Maintains and wears proper uniform according to company policy.
Use Company provided safety lifting equipment.
Properly stores and arranges work area to maintain cleanliness and safe environmentfollowing all safety rules and regulations for grounding, storage, spill clean-up, etc.

Requirements:
High School diploma (or GED).
Minimum of 3 years of Folder/Gluer equipment operation within the food packaging industry.Experience with Bobst Alpina, Expertfold and or Heidelburg gluer preferred.
Must have interpersonal and communication skills.
Must possess basic computer skills and mathematical skills necessary to computepercentages, weights and measures.
Physical Demands:
This position requires prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending and/or reaching,
balancing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, hearing andspeaking.
Frequent lifting in excess of 30 lbs is required.
Must be able to hold, touch, feel and manipulate with hands product and equipment in a safemanner. Manual dexterity is required.
Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability
to adjust focus as well as good eye-hand coordination.
Must be able to rotate shifts and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needs.
