Your role at a glance
The Global Contract Management Specialist oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals, legal standards, and risk controls. This role leads contract oversight, standardizes processes, ensures compliance, and partners with legal, sourcing, and finance teams to manage global agreements efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong contract lifecycle knowledge, negotiation skills, and experience managing complex contract portfolios in a global environment
What we are looking for
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the global contract lifecycle process, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination of supplier and partner agreements.
  • Ensure contracts align with business objectives, legal requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Receives goal-oriented assignments and is expected to use allocated resources and optimize contract oversight to meet these goals.
  • Give guidance to team members but allows latitude within organization's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to develop and maintain standardized contract templates and playbooks.
  • Monitor contract compliance and performance, identifying and resolving deviations or risks proactively.
  • Recommends policy / process changes that affect immediate area.
  • Follows procedure when methods for solutions need to be selected.
  • Maintain a centralized contract repository and ensure accurate metadata tagging for reporting and audit readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract terms, obligations, and best practices.
  • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal reporting related to contract obligations and supplier performance.
  • Interacts with team members or peers from other areas on matters pertaining to functional areas, to provide support in resolving contract-related issues.
  • Standardizes contract management models across different suppliers and regions.
  • Manages and leverages advanced reporting tools (Power BI, Excel) to generate actionable insights from supplier performance data and drive executive-level decision-making.

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
  • Deep understanding of commercial terms, and risk mitigation strategies in a global context.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance legal, financial, and operational considerations.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and digital contract workflows.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to interact effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Advanced ability to identify, assess, and mitigate various risks associated with contract management.
  • Relevant knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to supplier contracts and relationships.
  • Ability to interpret complex contract language and translate it into actionable business terms.
  • Strong analytical skills for contract data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Contract Management (e.g., IACCM/WorldCC, NCMA) preferred.
  • ITIL or similar service management certification is a plus if managing IT-related contracts.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 5+years of global experience working in the Services Supplier and Vendor Management field Advanced demonstrated contract management experience, preferably in a multinational or complex regulatory environment.
  • Proven experience managing global supplier contracts, including SaaS, professional services, and outsourcing agreements.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing or optimizing CLM tools and processes.
  • Advanced demonstrated understanding of the contract lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints.
  • Advanced demonstrated report writing and data analysis (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Email, Power BI, Teams experience).
  • Advanced people management and leadership experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
  • Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
  • Close visual work on a computer terminal.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.

WORK CONDITIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • This position is remote with some global travel required for bi-monthly on-site collaboration team meetings in a shared work environment (4-5 days).
  • Extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.
  • Must have flexible work schedule to accommodate across global business hours

Compensation Pay Range
"This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $83,900.00 - $149,800.00.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
Employees receive paid time-off, medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and supplemental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending account, and 401k retirement plan to create a rich Total Rewards package."
