Job description

Amazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon LEO will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
-Role in Optical Inter-Satellite Link (OISL) team within Amazon's Leo organization
- Lead strategic intiatives for OISL team in delivering cross-functional programs for space-based optical communication systems


- Drive Rythem of Buisness for OISL team
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships with senior leadership, finance, and engineering teams
- ensure 100% delivery against critical satellite milestones-from prototyping through production to on-orbit operations.
Key job responsibilities
-Drive OP1 planning and execution processes across multiple cross-functional teams
-Manage complex budget tracking
- Research and provide trade analysis for infrastracture investments
-Implement and sustain Amazon's Working Backwards methodology (PR/FAQ, MBR/QBR cadence, written narratives) adapted for hardware development cycles

as a refugee or granted asylum.
About the team
In this role, you'll start your day reviewing program metrics across the OISL portfolio using Confluence, Jira, and Smartsheet dashboards tracking 35-70 KPIs. You'll partner closely with finance (where this role has been recognized as "best business partner for finance"), engineering leads, and senior Amazon Leo leadership to resolve cross-project resource conflicts and drive decisions on yellow/red items. Throughout the week, you'll coordinate across multiple hardware development projects, manage dependencies, guide OP1 planning, and ensure alignment between OISL and the broader Amazon Leo organization

Your internal stakeholders include OISL Project Leadership, Leo LT (VP-level), finance partners, and the Amazon Leo equipment group. The problems you'll solve range from strategic resource allocation across parallel satellite programs to ensuring on-time delivery of optical communication hardware for Amazon Leo's constellation.
