Job description

  • Responsible for overall management of the Pink Pearl Gift Shop in the hospital location, online and through kiosk sales.
  • Responsible for purchasing merchandise and maintaining accurate inventory controls under the point-of-purchase system in the shop and through Shopify.
  • Able to display merchandise to maximize sales appeal.
  • Handles all administrative operations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Develops a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year to bring in more revenue in-store and online.
  • Maintains knowledge of the point-of-purchase system in-store and online and can provide training to staff and volunteers.
  • Communicates effectively on emails, and social media marketing to promote sales.
  • Responsible for conducting an annual inventory.
  • Manages all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
  • Promotes quality customer service and teamwork.
  • Attends meetings monthly to report sales and specialty events.

REQUIRED Qualifications:
Computer and Micro Office software skills are a must.
Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
Strong communication skills, including written are a must.
Bookkeeping skills a must.
Superior customer satisfaction skills a must.
Ability to work in fast, paced changing environment a must.
Knowledge and ability to work with social media marketing, a must.
Must be able to handle extensive stooping, bending, reaching, standing and walking.
Regularly lifts up to 20 pounds
Visual and hearing acuity necessary
