Director of Professional Services Americas

Goal/ mission:

Director of Professional Services leads a team of consultants and specialists in a specific region. In co-operation with the Vice President, he/she is responsible for the assignments, projects, and financial results, in the region.

Responsibilities:

Director of Professional Services is responsible for financial outcome and growing the business for LS Retail Professional Services in the region, managing engagements, and ensuring client satisfaction. He/she will support clients and consultants to ensure the delivery and quality of the service and professional growth. The Director of Professional Services is responsible for their team members regarding training, performance evaluation, and overseeing their daily activities.

Main assignments (include, but not limited to the following):

  • Build up and maintain the regional LS Retail Consulting (Professional Services) team, working collaboratively with other regions.

  • Support partners and customers with consulting, training, and other services.

  • Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies and procedures related to the region’s goals.

  • Forecast and communicate professional services revenue plan in ongoing cadence.

  • Build strong relationships with LS Retail´s sales team, partners, customers and prospects, and is responsible for projects in the region.

  • Responsible for utilization of resources in the regional team.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to expand current engagements and identify new business and cross-selling opportunities based on best practices and the customer's business and technical requirements.

  • Communicate development guidelines to both internal and external development resources.

  • Assists in prioritizing projects and resources based on market demand and business impact.

  • Participate in technical design discussions, advising Consultants on proposed solutions.

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals on large complex engagements by fostering a collaborative team culture.

  • Oversee daily activities of his team members.

  • Evaluate his team members training, development, and performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in technology, business or equivalent education and professional experience.

  • 5+ years of leadership and management at a professional services firm managing direct reports.

  • 10+ years of experience with ERP systems and implementation projects.

  • LS Retail functional and implementation knowledge is a big advantage.

  • Excellent organizational, presentation, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with C-level client relationship building and management.

  • Experience in implementing both custom and packaged software solutions.

  • Experience in estimating work efforts in a professional services environment.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results on a timely basis.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
