Job Description

Responsible for ensuring all operations of the Beverage Departments and employee performances are in compliance with the Company's objectives and Gaming regulations.

Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to the beverage department; monitors beverage service on casino floor. Ensures smooth and efficient operations on a continual basis. Ensures adherence to uniform and dress codes and policies for all beverage personnel. 

  Ensures that the highest possible standards of customer services and employee relations are maintained and carried out in a fair and equitable manner. 

  Oversees the scheduling of employees and ensuring correct staffing levels and adjustments are made in accordance with customer needs. Approves all work schedules. 

  Monitors job performance of all beverage employees and provides feedback on same to aid the employees in developing and enhancing skills. 

  Provides input to Director of Food & Beverage concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention. 

  Review financial statements; forecasts revenue, and labor figures for beverage department; maintain proper inventory control. 

  Reviews and approves all recommendations and suggestions to hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, evaluate, assign, and discipline all beverage employees in a fair and equitable manner. 

  Maximizes cost effectiveness within the beverage department by ensuring compliance within established budget, labor and revenue benchmarks. 

  Responsible for listening to, evaluating and assuring control of customer complaints and settles the same without delay. 

  Promotes positive Customer relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient services. And by ensuring that all assignments and projects are complete in a timely manner. 

  Possesses knowledge of and complies with local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and attendant regulations as swell as the Company's internal controls, policies, and procedures. 

  Promotes departmental and property wide promotions on a continual basis. 

  Promotes proper communication within the department by utilizing memos, weekly meetings and e-mails. 

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED 

  Three to four years of beverage management experience required. 

  Appropriate licenser. 

  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. 

  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 

  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of organization.
