Job description

If you are outgoing, friendly and looking for a fun work environment, Escapology Burnsville wants to talk to you! We are hiring game masters to help guide groups through an hour-long adventure while delivering the best customer experience possible.

Game Master Job Summary

From the time customers enter our venue to the time they leave, our game masters help our customers enjoy their experience. When customers come into our lobby, the game master is there to greet them and take them back to their game. The Game Master acts as a guide, sending clues and aiding our guests in solving riddles and puzzles in order to complete their mission.

Game Master General Responsibilities

In addition to hosting groups to their rooms, explaining the rules, and sending hints from our control room, there are a few other duties that helps Escapology offer the best escape room experience possible.

· When groups complete their game, the game master is responsible for exiting the group from their game, explaining any unfinished puzzles, and taking a team photo

· After a game is complete, puzzles and props within the games will need to be quickly reset for the next group of adventurers

· We like our venue to be clean and tidy for our guests, so in addition to interacting with groups, game masters will need to do general cleaning and pitch in to make sure we stay organized

General Qualifications

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to confidently make speeches to small groups

· Critical thinking skills

· Attention to detail

· Capable of sitting for an hour or more

· Outstanding verbal and written communication

· Ability to work well and cohesively with a team

· Ability to multi-task

· Capacity to handle high-pressure situations

· Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
