Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and versatile audio designer, with experience in slot-style games, to create original music and sound effects for new themes in development. You will collaborate with game designers and software engineers to bring games to life with top-quality audio. This is not an entry level position


Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with game designers to define creative audio direction for assigned projects.
  • Create fun, engaging, theme-appropriate music and sound effects for games.
  • Deliver finished assets to established specs using industry-standard audio production tech.
  • Guide software engineers in audio asset implementation.
  • Test-play games on target hardware to verify proper audio functionality and overall balance. (In-person as-needed)
  • Troubleshooting and debugging.


Requirements:

Experience and Education

  • You must have professional experience developing audio for slot-style games (online, mobile, land-based) and be able to provide examples of your released titles.
  • Expert level proficiency with industry-standard audio production technology.
  • Broad stylistic versatility in music composition and production techniques.
  • Working knowledge of audio mastering and loudness.
  • Excellent critical listening skills.
  • Creativity and imagination.
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professionalism and good humor in receiving critical feedback.
  • The ability to meet deadlines like a boss.
  • Experience with middleware (Wwise, FMOD) is a bonus.
