Job description

At Bildt, we build more than complex projects, and we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.
Bildt is a relationship-driven prefabrication and modular construction company and a proud member of The Boldt Group of companies. We specialize in industrialized construction solutions, from wall panels and complex building components to fully volumetric permanent modular buildings, delivering speed, quality, and value with reduced waste. Our work is rooted in collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement as we support projects and partners across the United States from our prefabrication facilities.
In this role, you'll lead and support manufacturing and project teams to safely and efficiently deliver modular solutions that meet schedule, quality, and financial goals. You'll collaborate closely with production, quality, sales, design, and construction partners to coordinate scope, schedules, procurement, and execution while ensuring compliance with contract documents and regulatory standards. This is a hands-on leadership position that blends people development, operational excellence, and relationship-building, focused on mentoring teams, supporting sustainable manufacturing practices, and ensuring projects move seamlessly from planning through fabrication and installation.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $117,000- $156,193 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

  • Rich Culture: What started as a carpentry shop has grown into a multi-million-dollar company built on relationships and craftsmanship
  • High Performance: By people, strengthened through AI and technology that enhance collaboration, transparency, and results.

At Bildt, high performance starts with strong relationships. We believe the best projects are delivered by teams that trust each other, communicate openly, and take ownership from the field to the office. You won't just contribute to projects that matter; you'll grow alongside people who are investing in your success.
What You Bring
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in construction manufacturing, prefabrication, or industrialized construction environments.
  • Proven people-leadership experience, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, scheduling, and quality systems.
  • Experience managing project delivery fundamentals including safety, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration between production, quality, design, sales, and construction teams.
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills, grounded in safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and data-driven reporting to support performance tracking and forecasting.

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience in modular, panelized, or prefabricated construction environments.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement initiatives, or Daily Management Systems.
  • Experience supporting sales pursuits or product development efforts related to budget, schedule, or delivery strategy.
  • Familiarity with sustainable manufacturing practices and environmentally responsible production methods.
  • Experience working directly with clients or external partners in a manufacturing or construction setting.
