POSITION SUMMARY

Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy HRIS Analyst is a part of an HRIS team and is responsible for supporting the overall design, configuration, governance, and optimization of the Workday ecosystem at Axiom Space. This role partners closely with People & Culture, Finance, IT, and business leaders to ensure Workday supports operational excellence, compliance, and future-state growth. The ideal candidate brings the aptitude to learn the Workday expertise, strong systems thinking, and the ability to translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions. Level will be commensurate with experience. This will be a hybrid (two days in the office) role.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides Workday (Core HCM, Benefits, Advance Compensation, Absence Management, Payroll) system support, including research and solutions to help meet organizational needs, and/or results.
  • Provides first line of support for HR system users: answering questions, resolving issues, and escalating when needed.
  • Performs scheduled activities, such as data integrity checks, process flow testing and system security testing.
  • Utilizes best practice approaches when working with various Division and Department leaders to accomplish project goals/needs.
  • Supports system maintenance, in the review, testing and implementation of system enhancements.
  • Maintains clear documentation of configurations, change logs, user guides, and backup/restore procedures to support continuity and recovery.
  • Collaborates with vendors and other system administrators to coordinate strategic approaches for new applications/integrations.
  • Assists in the development of customized reports for ongoing organizational needs. Helps maintain data integrity, system compliance and privacy requirements.
  • Provides best recommendations for required actions that are consistent with available facts, system constraints, and access.
  • Maintains awareness of current HCM system updates with a focus on product delivery and support.
  • Continuously increases HCM knowledge and other system integration knowledge.
  • Communicates project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Implements and maintains agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provides guidance, training, and consulting to People and Culture team members.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
