PUBLIC FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Location: Atlanta, GA

Our client, an AmLaw 100 global law firm, is seeking a Public Finance Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office in a full-time, partnership-track position. This opportunity is ideal for a transactional attorney looking to build a sophisticated public finance practice within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of municipal finance matters, including special district representation, affordable housing, and economic development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing
  • 2-4 years of substantive transactional experience
  • Experience in public finance, real estate, securities, or other transactional practices
  • Demonstrated interest in or exposure to municipal finance, special district representation, affordable housing, or economic development
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and writing skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a team-based environment
  • A detail-oriented approach and sound professional judgment
  • Prior experience at a large law firm or sophisticated real estate practice is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on a variety of public finance and municipal finance transactions
  • Assist with the structuring and execution of bond financings and related transactional matters
  • Draft and review transactional documents, disclosures, and supporting materials
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients throughout all phases of transactions
  • Support economic development, infrastructure, and affordable housing initiatives through public finance work
