We are seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions. This is a substantive role with meaningful deal exposure across all major asset classes. You will work directly with senior attorneys on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development projects, and construction contracts, using a variety of capital sources and working across multiple jurisdictions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Structure, negotiate, and close commercial real estate transactions across asset classes
  • Handle acquisitions, dispositions, financing arrangements, leases, and development and construction contracts
  • Conduct due diligence and review legal documents with precision
  • Advise clients on federal, state, and local laws governing commercial real estate
  • Manage multiple active matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups and communicate effectively with clients and external parties


Required Education and Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant commercial real estate transactional experience
  • J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the New York State Bar required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risk and develop practical legal strategies
  • Skilled negotiator who can advocate effectively for client interests
  • Exceptional attention to detail in document review and due diligence
  • Clear written and verbal communicator across all levels of a deal
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing a varied workload
  • High ethical standards and a professional, client-focused approach
