  • Coordinate workflow with technicians and management and maintain accurate repair order and parts information.
  • Order parts, manage parts intake, and support an efficient repair process.
  • Professionally address customer questions and normal escalations while building long-term customer relationships.
  • Work toward performance expectations including a $700+ average repair order (ARO), $20,000+ in weekly sales, and approximately 6–7 vehicles per day, with the ability to manage up to 10 when volume requires.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of automotive Service Advisor experience, including at least 12 months of recent full-time aftermarket Service Advisor experience.
  • Automotive industry background with general automotive repair and maintenance knowledge.
  • Experience creating and presenting repair estimates, recommending maintenance and repairs, obtaining customer authorization, and managing repair orders through completion.
  • Experience ordering parts and managing parts intake.
  • Strong relationship-based sales, computer, and customer communication skills across phone, text, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday from 7:20 AM–5:20 PM and professionally manage customer concerns and escalations.
  • At least 6 months of hands-on Service Advisor experience with Tekmetric is strongly preferred; ShopGenie and independent automotive repair shop experience are also preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

On-Target Annual Earnings: $70,000–$105,000
Pay Type: Hourly + Commission
Commission: Tiered percentage of shop-wide gross profit
Pay Schedule: Weekly

On-target earnings reflect the stated compensation plan and are not guaranteed.

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match up to 4%
  • 2 weeks of paid time off beginning after 90 days
  • 3 weeks of paid time off after 5 years
  • 6 paid holidays
  • Paid maternity leave
  • Paid uniforms
  • Ongoing professional training
  • ASE certification reimbursement
  • Annual ASTA Expo opportunities
  • $50 per week toward tool-truck purchases for employees who maintain active ASE certifications
  • Every five years, an additional week off plus $5,000 toward a vacation
