TheDirectorofEngineeringisresponsibleforoverseeingtheproperty'sfacilitiesmaintenancefunction,ensuringtheefficientoperation,maintenance,service,andrepairofallequipment.The Director of Engineering is a skilled leader with technical expertise in engineering and maintenance.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • LeadershipandSupervision:Direct and supervise the Maintenance staff, overseeing the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
  • TechnicalExpertise: Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.
  • Problem-SolvingandDecision Making: Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, handling problems effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • CommunicationSkills:Convey information and ideas clearly and effectively listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests.
  • FinancialAcumen: Work with and understand financial information and data, including basic arithmetic functions to support maintenance operations.
  • ProjectManagement:Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance requests, schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor'sdegreeandatleast5yearsofexperienceinarelatedfield,includingpriormanagementexperience.
