As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations that include reviewing patient medical history, administering specific assessments, and recommending personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive analysis.
• Communicating evaluation findings to patients and their families in a clear manner, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting to foster a collaborative rehabilitation process.
• Implementing treatment protocols that align with evaluation findings and adapting to patient presentations and health care evolutions, effectively using evidence-based practices.
• Consulting with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals when necessary, documenting any changes in patient condition, and modifying care plans as needed to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Completing timely discharge planning and follow-up care, while accurately documenting patient interactions and maintaining comprehensive records according to health care compliance standards.
• Managing time efficiently to meet productivity targets while maintaining an organized schedule and participating in community outreach initiatives to promote our services.
• Contributing to departmental goals by engaging in continuous education and assisting in the development of new protocols, while mentoring and instructing students as a clinical educator.
• Ensuring an outstanding patient experience by demonstrating empathy, adaptability, and a commitment to exceptional service delivery.
• Actively participating in initiatives to eliminate barriers to care access and understanding community-specific health initiatives.

This position primarily revolves around working with diverse patient populations experiencing a range of conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Candidates for the Full-Time Physical Therapist position must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

While prior experience is not mandatory, applicants with two or more years of experience in a clinical setting are preferred. Exposure to outpatient rehabilitation services will be beneficial in understanding the dynamics of our patient-centric approach and enhancing collaborative outcomes with the multidisciplinary team.
