Job description

Our seasonal Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the specific division being hired into and deemed competent to work independently. Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapies utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring practitioner to restore function and to prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part. The Physical Therapist helps patients reach maximum performance levels and plans therapy involving therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training including bed mobility, transfer, and gait training. Utilizes various mechanical and electrical equipment, manual therapy, and prosthetic and orthotic devices. Evaluates, records and reports on patient progress. Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient's progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.

Education: Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy

License/Registration: License Issued by Florida or Compact State, Physical Therapist Certification

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Work Experience and Additional Information: One (1) year Hospital Clinical experience
