Job description

Senior Medical Device Sales RepresentativePosition Summary

An innovative medical device company is seeking a Senior Account Executive to help drive aggressive growth goals within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for developing relationships with healthcare decision-makers, conducting product demonstrations, generating referrals, and closing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with experience in rehabilitation, pain management, physical therapy, orthopedic, chiropractic, nursing, occupational therapy, or related clinical fields. This individual will play a key role in expanding market presence within federal healthcare facilities while maintaining strong customer relationships.

This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborates closely with a dedicated field sales team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new patient acquisition on a consistent weekly basis and secure new facility partnerships on a quarterly basis.
  • Partner with territory teammates to achieve regional sales objectives and growth targets.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline activity, customer interactions, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, providers, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Create and execute strategic call plans, including facility visits, product demonstrations, educational in-services, and account-closing activities.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the company's product portfolio, clinical applications, and customer environment.
  • Generate new business opportunities and expand utilization across existing accounts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with active customers to drive repeat business and long-term growth.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to increase market penetration throughout the assigned territory.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Physical Rehabilitation
    • Physical Therapy
    • Orthopedics
    • Chiropractic Care
    • Nursing
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Pain Management
    • Related healthcare fields
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Ability to build relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and key decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
  • 80% travel along the southern coast of California is expected calling on the Veterans Administration Hospitals.
