Job description

Server / Waitress (Full-Time)

We are seeking a full-time Server/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Italian cuisine, provides excellent customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for delivering a seamless dining experience, from taking orders to ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
This is a full-time position (5 days per week). Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays, and may be on call when needed.
Location Requirement
We are located in Woodside, Queens (11377). Preference will be given to candidates who live nearby and are able to arrive on short notice if needed.
Responsibilities

  •  Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests 
  •  Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them in a timely manner 
  •  Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu, including Italian dishes and specials 
  •  Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales 
  •  Ensure tables are properly maintained and guests’ needs are met throughout service 
  •  Work closely with kitchen and staff to ensure smooth service flow 
Qualifications

  •  Must have previous serving experience as a waitress (5 years+ preferred) 
  •  Knowledge of Italian cuisine preferred 
  •  Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor 
  •  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
  •  Must be able to carry multiple heavy dishes 
  •  Strong communication and customer service skills
