The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to provide comprehensive logistics and sustainment support across the DSLM program under the Satellite Control Network (SCN). The selected candidate will support lifecycle sustainment activities, logistics engineering analysis, provisioning, supply support, maintenance planning, and configuration management efforts across multiple system elements and projects.
The ILS Engineer will provide logistics and sustainment engineering support across multiple projects and system elements within the DSLM program, working alongside cross-functional teams to support lifecycle sustainment requirements and logistics activities. The position reports to the Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM) for the ILS Modification Projects team and supports product support and sustainment initiatives across the program.
Responsibilities:
The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Logistics & Sustainment Support
  • Support logistics engineering activities for Satellite Control Network (SCN) modification and sustainment efforts, including provisioning, sparing analysis, technical documentation, DMSMS tracking, and lifecycle support planning.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing lifecycle logistics and sustainment activities in support of program objectives
  • Participate in program reviews, technical interchange meetings, and customer meetings related to logistics and sustainment activities
  • Assist in maintaining logistics schedules aligned with contract milestones and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) activities

Logistics Product Data (LPD) & Data Management
  • Develop, update, and maintain Logistics Product Data (LPD), Logistics Management Information (LMI), and related logistics records within approved logistics management tools and databases.
  • Support provisioning activities, sparing analysis, and logistics modeling efforts
  • Assist with development and maintenance of Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), Support Equipment Requirements Documents (SERDs), and related logistics documentation
  • Support development and maintenance of provisioning records, Bills of Material (BOMs), parts lists, and supportability data

Maintenance & Supply Support
  • Support repair-cycle logistics activities for on-equipment, off-equipment, and spare assets
  • Coordinate material tracking, receipt, storage, packaging, handling, transportation, and documentation activities
  • Assist with failure data analysis, OEM notices, and sustainment assessments to support repair and sparing strategies
  • Support calibration tracking and support/test equipment management activities
  • Assist with technical order validation, engineering drawing reviews, and BOM verification efforts

Obsolescence & Configuration Management
  • Support Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) analysis and tracking activities
  • Track End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) notifications for hardware and software components
  • Assist with configuration management and supportability analysis activities
  • Support Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware/software refresh and sustainment planning efforts

Contract Deliverables & Compliance
  • Develop and support logistics analysis reports, technical documentation, and CDRL/ADRL deliverables in accordance with contract requirements
  • Ensure logistics documentation and sustainment activities comply with applicable program processes, standards, and policies
  • Support site surveys, inventory assessments, and logistics compliance reviews as required

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical field with 5+ years of experience; Or Master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical field with 3+ years of experience; equivalent experience may be substituted
  • Experience supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Product Support, or Sustainment activities within Department of Defense (DoD) programs
  • Familiarity with Logistics Product Data (LPD), provisioning, sparing analysis, maintenance planning, and supply support processes
  • Experience supporting technical documentation, logistics databases, and configuration management activities
  • Knowledge of DMSMS, lifecycle sustainment, and supply support concepts
  • Ability to analyze technical data, engineering documentation, and logistics requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

Desired:
  • Experience supporting Satellite Control Network (SCN), Air Force, or Space Force programs
  • Familiarity with GEIA-STD-0007, SAE TA-HB-0007, MIL-STD-1388, or related logistics standards
  • Experience with logistics databases or ILS tools such as PowerLOG-J, SLICwave, Eagle, or similar systems
  • Experience supporting provisioning conferences, logistics reviews, or sustainment planning activities
  • Knowledge of Government Furnished Property (GFP), repair-cycle asset management, and warehouse/material tracking processes
  • Experience supporting CDRL development and sustainment documentation delivery
