We are seeking an The Plumbing Apprentice will assist experienced Service Plumbers in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial plumbing systems. This position provides valuable on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement while supporting our commitment to exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assist licensed plumbers with diagnosing and repairing commercial plumbing systems.
  • Support installation, maintenance, and replacement of plumbing fixtures, piping, water heaters, valves, and related equipment.
  • Learn to perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
  • Assist with drain cleaning, leak detection, and system troubleshooting.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in a clean and organized manner.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and jobsite requirements.
  • Complete required paperwork, service reports, and documentation accurately.
  • Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and building occupants.
  • Participate in training programs and apprenticeship development opportunities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous plumbing, construction, mechanical, or trade experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong desire to learn the plumbing trade and develop a long-term career.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, kneel, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varied weather conditions is common to Arizona.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Understanding of system integrations (API).


ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Experience in the HVAC, plumbing, or skilled trades industry.
  • Familiarity with the Service Titan or equivalent (EOS) software .
  • Proficiency with service management or ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently, and as a team member.
  • Professional demeanor and solid interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business ethics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive, personable, and detail oriented.
  • Effective communication across multiple platforms and levels.
