Job Description:
This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. who can commit to working standard Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
Summary
As part of the Ryder team, the Manager, Competitive Intelligence performs research and analysis, including project management (often with broadly defined objectives), of corporate strategy initiatives. He/She will present this information and analysis to all levels of company management.
Essential Functions
  • Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends
  • Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely
  • Utilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topics
  • Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder's Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation
  • Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant source of primary and secondary research, including industry analysts, market research firms, conferences, and others

  • Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
