Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring for a full-time Butcher to join our team at Lincoln Ristorante in New York, New York. As a Butcher, you will prepare, package, and market meat for retail sale.

What will you do?
  • Assist the department manager with the daily operations of the meat department
  • Monitor the store and department floor, assist with guest needs and requests.
  • Provide direction to associates regarding products and departmental procedures.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety standards conducive to sanitary meat processing.

More about you
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a meat cutter in a grocery store or processing facility, or have completed a two-year apprenticeship program.
  • Must be able to operate all meat production equipment, including band saw, meat slicer, meat grinder, knives, Hobart label machine, and rotisserie in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and company safety standards.
  • Possesses excellent guest service skills.
  • Must possess strong time management and organizational skills.

Physical requirements
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and kneel.
  • Occasional lifting above the head.
  • Required to work in cold temperatures due to refrigeration/deep
