White River Lodge is a long term care community seeking a full time Business Office Manager.

We are seeking a full-time Business Office Manager to join our team of exceptional and motivated directors and caregivers. We are looking for individuals that want to make a difference in the lives of those around them, want to be challenged and rewarded. 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

This position compiles and analyzes information and invoices to prepare check requests and documents business transactions. Monitors and prepares monthly accounts payable aging reports. Interacts with vendors, settles disputes and advises the Administrator of issues needing further resolution. Ensures that appropriate authorization is obtained to prepare checks, cut, and mailed. Manages accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Addresses financial information with residents’ responsible party prior to admission to facility. Assists residents’ families with all financial questions. Prepares and sends out private pay billings.

Successful candidates should meet and possess the following skills and abilities: 

Long term care experience preferred. A fluent understanding of Medicare and Medicare is highly desired.  Some previous accounting courses helpful. Must have spreadsheet and word document experience. Must be a supportive team member, willing to contribute and be an example of team work and team concept.  Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
