The ideal candidate will bring an established market presence and existing relationships within the construction industry, along with a strong understanding of construction processes, material supply cycles, and current industry trends.BenefitsWe offer competitive pay and a strong benefits package, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k)Life InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Paid Time OffEmployee DiscountsCompetitive SalaryEssential Job Duties:Sales Strategy DevelopmentDevelop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and surpass growth targets for single-family and residential construction projects.Conduct thorough market analysis to identify competitive advantages and tailor approaches for different client segments to maximize impact in targeted markets.Business DevelopmentProactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through diverse channels, including cold-calling, business visits, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and projects to ensure continuous business expansion and sustainability.Relationship BuildingCultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with General Contractors and other key stakeholders.Serve as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while fostering trust and loyalty to encourage repeat business.Client EngagementCraft and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value of our services to prospective clients.Tailor pitches to meet specific client needs, demonstrating how our solutions effectively address their objectives and challenges.Project OversightOversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring completion on schedule and adherence to or exceedance of quality standards.Continuously monitor project progress, promptly address issues, and maintain transparent communication with all parties involved.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate closely with internal teams, including project management, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.Align sales efforts with overall company objectives and facilitate effective interdepartmental communication to drive optimal outcomes.Qualifications:3–5 years of experience in business development and management; experience inthe residential or single-family construction sector strongly preferred.Established market presence and pre-existing relationships within theconstruction industry.Leadership experience preferred, with the potential to build and lead a divisionalteam in the future.Sales experience and/or a strong purchasing background in building materials suchas siding, lumber, or roofing preferred.Comfortable with customer-facing work, including office visits, cold-calling, andlead follow-up.Experience with Acumatica is a plus, but not required.Willingness to travel locally up to 25% and attend industry events as needed.Get started with our team!This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful growth in a thriving sector, build a strong client portfolio, and grow into a divisional leadership position as the business expands.
