Join AXA Partners as Our New Director of Business Development - Travel Insurance!
Drive growth in a dynamic, global travel insurance market and lead innovative partnerships with top travel brands. Are you ready to shape the future of travel protection?

What you'll be doing:
  • Lead the development of strategic partnerships with travel distributors, travel agencies, and digital channels to expand AXA's travel insurance footprint globally.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with AXA's commercial goals and profitability standards.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing and distribution strategies to convert prospects into loyal partners and customers.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive insights to craft innovative insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Underwriting, Operations, Marketing) to facilitate seamless deal execution and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Drive negotiations, finalize commercial agreements, and oversee contract implementations for new partnerships.
  • Support expansion efforts in key markets such as the US and beyond, managing long sales cycles with a proactive approach.
  • Represent AXA Partners at industry events, enhancing visibility and positioning as a market leader in travel insurance.
What you'll bring:
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in sales and business development within the travel insurance industry, with strong knowledge of the US market.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions effectively.
  • A broad network of industry contacts, with a track record of building large-scale domestic and international travel insurance programs.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate market insights into innovative product and partnership opportunities.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with long sales cycles.
  • Deep understanding of digital distribution channels and data-driven sales models.
  • Preferably, holding a relevant business degree, insurance licensing, and knowledge of medical evacuation or political risk (plus).
