POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Associates of Florida is seeking a Breast Radiologist to join our growing practice in one of Florida's more prized communities-Sarasota, a beachside resort community. This partnership-track position offers a heavy concentration of Breast Imaging (>90%).
Our Breast Imaging service provides full-service on-site care in a state-of-the-art Breast Health center at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, the premier health system in the Sarasota region. The Breast Health service is a high-investment priority for our hospital partner, which recently opened a best-in-region Cancer Institute residing in a new on-campus Oncology Tower. An adjacent Outpatient Pavilion is under development and will be the flagship site for our Breast Imaging practice. As a secondary practice location our Breast Radiologists now also support the new SMH - Venice hospital, since its doors opened in the Fall of 2021. Our practice includes screening mammography (with a high penetration of tomosynthesis), diagnostic mammography and ultrasound, and breast MRI. We perform the whole range of breast interventions, using stereo, ultrasound, and MRI.
Our Breast Radiologists function as a team, working in the same physical footprint, allowing us to support one another. We are central members in a multi-specialty team. We work closely with our referring surgeons, primary care physicians and pathologists, participating in weekly clinical conferences.
The workdays are 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Upon joining RAF, an additional optional opportunity for those who are interested is an internal moonlighting program with unmatched flexibility, allowing radiologists to moonlight from home as much or as little as they prefer, without having to commit to extra shifts.
POSITION DETAILS
  • Monday-Friday onsite. Low Volume Weekend Call for partnership-track
  • Volumes may vary depending on clinical needs and situational factors
  • Partnership track or Associate options available
  • Hybrid opportunity

What We Offer
  • Highly competitive compensation package
  • MosaicOS™ is RP's next-generation operating system for imaging. It's a cloud-based, AI-native platform that brings everything a radiologist uses into one seamless environment. Instead of jumping between disconnected systems, your reporting, viewing, worklists and AI tools live in one place.
  • Internal moonlighting opportunities - read as much or as little as you prefer
  • Full benefits including PTO, holidays, 401(k), and malpractice insurance with tail

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fellows and residents welcome to apply
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • MQSA Required
  • Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $500,000-$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
RAF is the largest radiology practice in Florida. We serve the most prestigious, established health systems in the state, including on the east and west coasts, the Florida Panhandle, and the Keys. Our scale affords our practice stability and affords our radiologists flexibility in study mix and scheduling. We also recognize that scale alone does not beget excellence. We are quality-oriented, and we practice radiology at the cutting edge, encouraging subspecialty-level interpretations across the practice, and facilitating collaboration and consultation between our radiologists.
Our state-of-the-art IT suite includes universal PACS across the practice, AI tools, and integrated doc-to-doc communication widgets. Mosaic Reporting™ uses ambient AI and large language models (LLMs) to structure reports as you speak naturally. You can dictate as if you're teaching a fellow. Just describe what you see, and Mosaic builds the structured report automatically, even inserting normal findings for you.
Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments. Our diverse group of radiologists work and socialize together in our communities around Florida. Even between our communities across the state, we are one practice. We have a vibrant mix of highly experienced radiologists, as well as emerging leaders in our large cohort of early-career radiologists. We look forward to letting you get to know us better!
