Job description:

Progressive Small Animal Hospital and Referral Center for Advanced Diagnostics and Surgery is seeking full-time Veterinary Technician or Technician Assistant to join our team. Our technicians get to be hands-on with patient care, not just limited to animal restraint, filling prescriptions and keeping computerized exam notes. We offer high-quality diagnostic services including an extensive in-house lab with Idexx equipment, ultrasound, laser surgery, cold laser therapy, digital xray. In addition to our Veterinarians on staff, we have a Residency-trained veterinarian who comes in for advanced orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery. We are looking for skilled, compassionate technicians who are highly motivated, team players, detail-oriented, and a quick study. We will also offer on hands training for Assistants. The right candidates need to be skilled in phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, intubation, drug calculations, surgical preparation, digital radiography, dental prophylaxis and all phases of anesthesia, including induction/anesthetic monitoring/ patient recovery.
