Veterinary Technician (Part-Time)
Location: Adams Animal Care & Tecumseh Animal Clinic - Adams, NE & Tecumseh, NE

Adams Animal Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team in Adams, NE. Adams Animal Care has proudly served pets and their families for years. Our clinic combines a warm, small-town atmosphere with advanced veterinary tools and a strong commitment to personalized care. Our sister location is in Tecumseh, NE.

Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Technician, your duties will include:

  • Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments.
  • Performing diagnostic tests, including radiographs and in-house lab work.
  • Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care.
  • Conducting dental cleanings and assisting with dental procedures.
  • Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is preferred. Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with large animal is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train!
  • Skills: Strong technical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  • Mindset: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
