Job Description

We are a petroleum company that has provided commercial fueling services for businesses throughout Central Virginia for over 30 years. We are seeking a CDL Class B Fuel Oil Driver to join our team! You must be self-motivated, energetic, possess a positive can-do attitude, and not be afraid to roll-up your sleeves in order to get things done. This is a full-time position that includes health insurance, paid vacations, paid holiday, and a IRA program.

Job Details:

  • Schedule is Monday - Friday with on call weekends every 6 weeks.
  • We do not do overnight or over-the-road work. Drivers are home every night.
  • Good drive time to labor ratio.
  • Must be willing to drive to Northern Virginia or Chesapeake on certain routes.
  • Knowledge of DOT restrictions on roadways and ensure that all DOT regulations are followed at all times.
  • We refill fuel storage tanks of all sizes, above ground and underground, as well as some wet-hosing for vehicles and equipment.
  • No gravity deliveries, all deliveries are metered.
  • Must have experience with carrying and managing multiple fuel products at once.
  • Must be ready to follow route directions and willing to have really open relationship with the dispatcher and other office staff.
  • Customer service skills a must! Will be interacting with customers.
  • Must be able to ride with or have other drivers ride with you when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Class B CDL with current Tanker AND Hazmat endorsements.
  • Must have fuel delivery experience, 2 years with prior company preferred.
  • Current DOT Medical.
  • Current TWIC card.
  • Clear background check*
  • Clean MVR, must have safe driving history
  • Strong work ethic and great customer service skills
  • Ability to handle physical workload, including but not limited to pulling the hose and/or lifting up to 50lbs.

After 90 days of employment, all employees are granted the following benefits:

  1. 2 weeksโ€™ vacation per year accrued at 1.539 hours per week
  2. 3 hours of paid sick leave earned for every month worked, or 36 hours per year.
