Title: Front Office Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour (up to $20.00 with relevant specialty experience)

About the Opportunity
Addison Group is hiring a Front Office Specialist on behalf of our client for a contract-to-hire opportunity within a specialty healthcare practice. This role is ideal for an experienced front desk professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment and enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, manage check-in/check-out processes, and ensure a positive front office experience
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls while assisting patients in person and maintaining professionalism
- Verify insurance coverage and coordinate necessary referrals prior to visits
- Schedule and confirm appointments, including conducting reminder outreach
- Accurately input and update patient demographic and insurance information
- Prepare charts and documentation in advance of appointments
- Support overall front office operations to ensure smooth daily workflow
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of front desk experience within a medical office setting
- Proven ability to manage both phone volume and in-person patient interactions simultaneously
- Strong preference for candidates with specialty clinic exposure (nephrology highly valued)
- Experience working with electronic health records systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Demonstrated job stability with consistent tenure in previous roles
- Professional demeanor with strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized and able to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Eager to learn, take direction, and actively engage during training
Additional Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (fully onsite)
- No overtime; consistent end-of-day schedule
