Job Description

This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and TypeScript.

  • Build and support reusable UI components and Micro Frontend (MFE) solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with UX designers to transform wireframes and design assets into intuitive user experiences.

  • Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to understand requirements, refine solutions, and ensure delivery aligns with business objectives.

  • Participate in backlog refinement, story creation, estimation, and sprint planning activities.

  • Ensure accessibility, usability, responsiveness, and performance standards are incorporated into all solutions.

  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and microservices.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture reviews.

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and modernization initiatives.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects, browser compatibility issues, and performance concerns.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience with Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture and Module Federation.

  • Experience collaborating directly with UX teams and design systems.

  • Experience with React Query, Redux, or Context API.

  • Experience with Playwright, Jest, or React Testing Library.

  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar DevOps toolchains.
