Responsibilities

Nursing Home Nurses (RN) perform many of the same duties as they do in the hospital setting, including taking vital signs, giving medications, performing assessments, and overseeing patient treatment plans. Nursing Home RNs job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Observe patient progress and record observations in patient medical records
  • Develop and execute patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals
  • Nursing Home RNs educate patients and family members on patient care, procedures, and medications
