Job description

Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant

Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 annually (non-exempt)
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch) | Onsite 5 days/week (eligible for 1 WFH day after 6 months)
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

This opportunity sits within their Estates, Trusts & Guardianships practice and offers high visibility with firm leadership.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support their Estates, Trusts, and Guardianships (ETG) practice. This role serves as a key point of contact for a Managing Partner and provides both administrative and client-facing support within a highly structured legal environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and looking for a long-term career path within a law firm setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary administrative support for the Estates, Trusts & Guardianships team
  • Manage client communication, intake, and general correspondence
  • Maintain and coordinate attorney calendars and deadlines
  • Prepare, draft, format, and proofread legal documents and court filings
  • Assist with e-filing and submission of legal documentation
  • Coordinate document execution and signing processes
  • Support estate and trust administration tasks, including opening matters and maintaining case files
  • Assist with financial tracking and recordkeeping related to estate and trust matters
  • Provide occasional support to additional practice areas as needed

Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of experience in Estates & Trusts required
  • Litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a legal administrative or legal support role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Professional demeanor with strong client service mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal software (ProLaw, Litify, iManage) is a plus
