Freight Forwarder Account Executive / Sales
JOB SUMMARY
Straight Forwarding, Inc. is seeking for a Sales Executive to build new business in Milpitas The position will identify, target new business for the company and establish relationship with new customers. Straight Forwarding, Inc. offers a competitive commission structure to ensure unlimited earning potential for this position.
Salary Range
$37K to $200K including commission -depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and target potential business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain successful relationship with customers
  • Prospect for potential customers using various methods such as face to face visits, phone calls, and networking.
  • Conduct presentations and prepare quotations to customers
  • Propose and follow new sales directions and projects
  • Build and update contract rates for different customers and services on a regular basis
  • Regularly contact potential and current customers to increase volume or market share
  • Work closely with operation team and overseas agents to develop a collaborative relationship to ensure customers satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed sales threshold/quota as defined by the company
  • Analyze sales and profits to generate strategic actions
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years outside business to business sales experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is plus.
  • Previous international logistics/transportation sales experience highly preferred.
  • Established presence in the market place preferred.
  • Must have a proven sales track record in business development.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and maintain solid working relationships with clients and staff.
  • Preferable Mandarin/Cantonese speakers.
  • No experience is okay as long you are willing to learn.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience is a plus, without experience we will train new hires.
